I finally got back into the shop recently and turned a few new pieces. It really feels good to stand at the lathe and create something. I must work on not letting so much time go by between sessions at the lathe!!

New Lathe for the shop

I took advantage of a Black Friday sale to upgrade my 1949 shopsmith to a new "REAL" lathe. I bought the Powermatic 3520B (Mustard Monster). I love this thing, it is so much different turning on a real lathe. Things go quite a bit quicker.
