'Sacrifice'

This is my first attempt at a natural edge bowl. It is a piece of apple wood from my brother. They decided to add onto their house last year, but they had to cut this apple tree down. I roughed this out last December and got to finish turn it last month. I am going to give it to my sister-in-law for her B-day in Dec. Now they can have their apple tree inside their house.

It is about 7" wide and 4.5" tall with a wall thickness of 3/16" finished with 4 coats of Minwax Antique Oil. Then buffed.
